| hey i was wondering if anyone out there can help me out, i would like to start doing dirvers ed, i currently own a 1992 525I non vanos with a manual and a 1987 325es that is also manual, I know the "e" model is horribly slow, is it worth to swap the M50 motor into the E30 or has anyone regularly driven a 525 on the track.... can anyone point me in the right direction |

Sorry for the late reply. I would suggest starting with whichever car you're most comfortable in. The car is much less important than what you will learn as a beginner. Don't think about upgrading the car to begin, just make sure it is in good mechanical shape and will pass tech inspection. _________________ Martin Bullen
