About this event

DelVal Fall foliage Tour 2024 -October 19, 2024

Are You Ready for Some Fall Color?

Join your friends with the Delaware Valley Chapter of the BMWCCA on October 19, 2024 for a Fall Foliage tour!

Special Chapter Celebration of 25 Years of X5 and X-Drive - Bring yours to be part of the photo!

The event starts with a Cars, Coffee and Breakfast meet-up at the the BMW of West Chester (BMWOWC, 1275 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA) starting at 8:30am . You can check out your fellow members' cars as well as take a look a all of the new BMW models! Once again, we owe a HUGE Thank You to BMWOWC for their generosity and continued support of our DelVal Chapter!

Be sure to check in at the registration desk when you arrive to sign our waiver and receive a wrist band.

At 9:30 am, we will head out on our tour, and a packet with directions and scavenger-hunt questions to answer along the way will be provided for each vehicle. This year we will make our way North into beautiful Bucks County where hopefully the leaves will be ablaze in color!

Our foliage tour ends, conveniently, at a family friendly microbrewery and restaurant, where you’ll be able to buy lunch and compare notes with club friends! We’ll take your scavenger documents with your answers, and reveal who had the sharpest eyes along the way!

Please use the " Register Now" link to register driver, navigator(s), your car and other participants so we can get a good count for BMWOWC and the restaurant.

There will be a rest stop location noted along the route.

This event is rain or shine! If that influences the decision on what car you bring, the roads and the colors will still be great!

After lunch, you are free to explore this scenic area further, continue your sight-seeing drive or head straight home

Important things to bring along:

  • A Navigator is highly recommended! We will provide the directions as written instructions with embedded clues for scavenger hunt. If you are a solo driver, you can team up with another car and just follow them and enjoy the view!
  • A Clipboard and Pen to keep track of progress and jot down answers to scavenger hunt questions
  • A Google Maps Capable Smartphone.  This will come in handy for those who do not have a navigator or who would prefer to just follow the route directions in this format
  • A form of payment to cover your lunch bill at the destination lunch restaurant. Yes, breakfast is courtesy of BMWOWC, we are each on our own to cover lunch!

Learn about Tire Rack Street Survival!

A brief video about Street Survival

Real world. Hands on.

When your teen driver attends a Street Survival school, we teach them to control your car in unpredictable situations based on its handling limits. They master the application of driving physics using their car. They learn how to make good driving decisions and react more quickly. They become more aware and learn how to begin anticipating the actions of other drivers.

We will be posting the 2024 Street Survival Schedule soon. Watch this space!

Only $125 per student.

About Our Chapter

Founded in 1975, the Delaware Valley (DelVal) chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is a diverse group of more than 2,000 BMW enthusiasts in the extended Philadelphia metropolitan area.

It doesn’t matter to us what model BMW you drive or even whether you drive a BMW at all! Our mission is to promote camaraderie among like-minded enthusiasts by providing a good balance of driving and social events, benefits, and friendly members who volunteer their time and energy to help each other out to enhance the BMW driving and ownership experience.

The DelVal chapter of the BMW CCA is an all-volunteer organization run by a board of directors elected by the members and others who donate their time and effort to the club and its members. We welcome anyone who would like to participate or volunteer. Please email memberliaison@delvalbmwcca.org or come to one of our events listed in the calendar on the “Upcoming Events” page.
