Since I’ll be leading the group down from the north, I’ll probably be arriving at the shop at about 10:10. I’ve enlisted the help of one of my coworkers, Matt, to greet folks as they arrive, just in case there are traffic surprises on my way down. Feel free to park in front of the office and head inside. “Kids” of all ages love trains, so everyone is welcome; there are no age restrictions.
I’m planning on a nice and relaxed time in the shop… so bring your cameras and curiosity. We can spend however much time we need there poking around and chatting about what you’re seeing, what SMS does, etc. Then we’ll go get some pizza and beer! Farmers and Bankers Brewing also has some non-alcoholic selections like root beer, so “kids” of all ages are welcome there too.
