1. I took delivery of my beloved Titanium Gray 525i on June 4, 2003, and have been its exclusive driver, with only a once/week passenger in the front seat. Maybe one or two occupants/year in the back seat. So basically the leather is in virtually mint condition except for the left front, which is fully intact but with predictable evidence it’s been used. I’m 6’1” and 170-180 pounds for context. The driver floor mat is still respectable, and the other three excellent. There’s a tiny area of discoloration on the driver’s side mirror. One of the crappy cup holders broke years ago and I just stopped using them. All entertainment systems work; some of the pixels have winked out on the various displays.

2. There are about 104k miles on the odometer, a mix of highway and local.

3. I generally end up adding one quart (rarely two) of oil between the annual dealer oil service. Because of the low mileage in recent years (I think I’m down to about 4k per annum), it’s been emissions exempt. I’ve kept current with all recommended servicing and parts replacements. For example, they did a brake fluid flush as part of last month’s oil service/inspection. Because of its age, there are a couple of predictable (but not critical) issues we’re keeping an eye on.

4. The exterior paint is as it seems in the photos: excellent. It was hand-applied Zymol Concours cared for much of its life. There is a small stretch (maybe 12” x 1”) of softening metal on the edge of the rear passenger wheel well — probably a rainwater drainage issue. The paint is intact, but if I weren’t selling it, I’d take it to my excellent body shop to take care of it before it becomes noticeable and more extensive.
