Join us for an early fall afternoon of BMWs, BBQ, steam trains, and a little time on the farm as the Club’s Fall Picnic heads to the Woodstown Central Railroad in southern New Jersey.
Please plan to arrive at South Woodstown Station by 11:00 a.m., where we’ll kick things off with a catered BBQ lunch from Hick’s BBQ before boarding the train together.
After lunch, we’ll climb aboard the Woodstown Central for a narrated ride through the Salem County countryside to historic Penton Station and Bil-Dol Farm. Once there, we’ll have approximately two hours to explore the farm, including its patriotic corn maze, tractor-pulled wagon rides, and U-Pick sunflowers. When the afternoon’s activities wrap up, we’ll reboard the train for a relaxed ride back to South Woodstown Station.
It should be a terrific fall day with plenty of time to eat, visit with fellow Club members, enjoy the railroad, and explore a working South Jersey farm.
